In Bercy Village shops are open daily from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. while restaurants and bars stay open untill 2am. (So: perfect visit for a Sunday!)
To get there you take metro 'ligne 14' metrostop: 'Cour Saint-Emilion' where you come above the ground right infront of Bercy Village.
This Sunday, I went there with a friend, we did not know this metrostop yet so we took the same line but stopped one stop earlier at 'Bercy' (it sounds pretty logic to stop at 'Bercy' for Bercy Village.. but no.. not in Paris). There we came above the ground a half hour-walk away from Bercy Village. But soon we saw what a good idea it was to take this metrostop after all; This walk allowed us to discover a local skating event that was going on that day, and ofcours the breathtaking 'Parc de Bercy' next to Bercy Village, a definite must to walk through (especially for lovebirds)!
In Bercy Village you find shops like the Monop Store, Nicolas, Oliviers & Co, Arteum, Sephora, Nature et Découvertes, and plenty more... But also a large UGC cinema! This makes an exellent end-destination to a cosy day at the park, restaurants, shops and bars of Bercy Village!
